Story has it that in 1949, a local farmer's wife decided that the Mackenzie Country needed more colour. So she secretly spread lupin seeds along roadsides and river beds, hoping to simply make the world more beautiful.
But here’s an interesting twist: one of the people who helped her plant those early seeds was the father of one of our very own stockists!
Now, the centre of the South Island bursts into a dazzling display of colour every summer to make the already stunning views even more breath-taking.
These European-inspired glass lamps evoke a sense of calm and wonder.
They involve intricate, handcrafted designs made from polymer clay. The light from the LED bulb inside illuminates the design adding warmth and colour to your favourite room.
