Hazard
It is imperative that the MSV disc blade cutting assembly is routinely inspected for excessive or uneven
wear of the blade tips and if required, a whole set replaced with genuine MASPORT parts.
What to do
Owners are asked to inspect the MSV blade disc and cutting tips and if they find any cracks around the
centre hole of the blade disc; there is uneven blade wear or damaged blade tips or their mower is
experiencing excessive handle vibration or making an unusual noise they should take it to a Masport
approved service dealer.
Failure to do this can cause excessive vibration of the MSV disc blade. This vibration can then weaken the
area around the central location and can cause cracking and eventually a separation of the disc itself.
Under normal use the disc will remain inside the mower housing.

Blade- Quick Cut (consumable item)

It has come to our attention that some owners of a Petrol Mower are not doing routine maintenance.
(Refer to the Mower Owner Manual). Or being aware of the importance of keeping the cutting assembly
balanced. We are also aware some owners have been fitting non-approved cutting tips.
Mowers fitted with a MSV blade disc blade cutting system and sold from July 2012 to March 2014
serial numbers from 7545492 to 7791051 require the correct disc and blade maintenance as described in
