Hemptech is a New Zealand based wholesale company that specialises in manufacturing and supplying hemp fabric and hemp blend fabrics for the interior design and soft furnishing industries.

In the early 1960's Hoad started to design their own fabrics (again a first in the Australian industry) which they also manufactured into finished products such as bedspreads and packaged curtains. In the early '80's Rod Hoad (Lester's son) introduced fully co-ordinated soft furnishings, allowing products such as bedspreads, curtains, cushions and upholstery fabrics to be sourced from the one wholesaler, ensuring a perfect match.

The business has evolved with changing trends and now concentrates solely on being a wholesaler of furnishing fabrics, supporting soft furnishing retailers across Australia and New Zealand. Hoad's mission is unchanged and that is to develop high quality furnishing fabrics for domestic and commercial use, and to deliver excellent service to our customers including professional advice, on time delivery and support such that we are considered by them to be the best in the industry.

A-One Blinds has been locally manufacturing custom blinds since 1999, and in that time has built a reputation for producing blinds of consistent high quality, delivering excellent service and being innovative and flexible.

Aside from contemporary, quality blinds the A-One brand represents our commitment to provide customers options for reducing their environmental impact primarily by reducing solar heat gain (to minimise cooling costs) and reducing thermal heat loss (to minimise heating costs).  A-One blinds may also reduce the UV  fading of other furnishings and possessions, reducing the need for premature replacement.

As a business, we are continuously trying to reduce our own environmental impact.  We are continuously seeking out materials that are sustainable or recyclable, we are minimising waste, recycling or re-using packaging materials, down-sizing our vehicles, car-pooling, and suffering the heat in summer and cold in winter.
