Online Editor
New Zealand’s largest independent department store is looking for an online editor who can take charge of our website content, contribute to our general advert compilation and cover some basic design work.
Key tasks include:
* Managing our online product content (images + descriptions)
* Managing our online supplier information and campaigns
* Design input into our growing online business
* Design of promotional/advertising material
* Preparation of catalogues/publications
* Providing support to the sales force
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A degree or diploma in marketing (or be simply amazing with these things below)
* Experience in Indesign and Photoshop
* A passion for the sales industry
* Sound knowledge in marketing principles
* Flair and creativity for marketing concepts
* Interest in web design and maintenance
You will be part of a small, busy team, liaising with the marketing manager, store department managers, directors and suppliers.
To be successful in this role, you will
* Be a logical thinker with an eye for detail
* Have an ability to work with speed and accuracy under tight deadlines.
* Have good administrative skills and excellent English communication skills, spelling and grammar.
* Will be well organised and enjoy working within a team environment to share ideas and projects.
* Be able to demonstrate computer literacy, with basic skills in Word/Excel
* Enjoy developing content online and for print.
The job is Hamilton-based and you must be able to work in New Zealand.
